ENF LAW TENT

ENF LAW TENT

Eliot Ness Fest is a celebration of effective and conscientious law enforcement, public safety, and first responders. The Eliot Ness Fest is a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated most of his adult life to those worthy causes.

Every year, the festival features a Law Tent on the courthouse square with special programs and presentations by today's first responders.

Here is the lineup:

  • U.S. Dept. of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

  • Cleveland Police Historical Society.

  • Handler Rod Johnson with tracking bloodhounds.

  • Sweden Township Police Chief Bryan Phelps with “Jay,” a police dog trained in drug detection and other special skills.

  • Reunion of the Descendants of the Untouchables, 2 pm to 4 pm (see schedule of events).

  • Entertaining presentation and book-signing by Eliot Ness biographers A. Brad Schwartz and Paul W. Heimel, 6 pm to 7 pm (see schedule of events).

  • “Public Safety First!,” with Coudersport Volunteer Fire Department and Coudersport Volunteer Ambulance Association.
